Private landlords offer Real Lettings their properties, as they are keen to try an ethical alternative. They are also pleased with the quality of our leasing and management services.
Real Lettings has Property negotiators who liaise with Landlords to take on their properties. We offer landlords a Leasing service whereby we lease the property from them for 3 to 5 years and guarantee them rent for that time as well as property services and housing management. We also manage properties for landlords which involves rent collection, some property services and obviously finding them a decent tenant. We offer our landlords a high quality service and so they are happy to let their properties through us and are happy with our scheme. All our landlords accept Local Housing Allowance (housing benefit) and are aware that it is paid in arrears.
We take on one bedroom and studio flats. Our property negotiators do Health and Safety checks as well as check the properties against decent homes standards to ensure that all the properties we take on are of a good quality. Most of our properties are partly furnished meaning it will typically contain carpeting/flooring, curtains a fridge and a cooker. Real Lettings will support you to get other important home furnishings.
People under the age of 25 will be housed in shared properties, this is due to the single room rent restriction set by Local Housing Allowance (housing benefit) . We only take on properties with a maximum of two people sharing. The shared properties consist of individuals own private room and shared communal areas.
